「健全な精神は健全な肉体に宿る」は誤訳
本来は「美貌とか富とかは誰もが欲しがるけどトラブルの元にもなるから、
願うなら心身の健康くらいにしておきなさい」というような文脈だった

「天は人の上に人を造らず、人の下に人を造らず」は
人類平等を説いてるわけではない
本来はその後に「～と言えり（と言われている）」と続き、
「でも現実には利口な人がいればバカもいる。貧乏人がいれば
金持ちもいる。その違いを生むのは学問の有り無しである」と
書かれているから『学問のすすめ』
